Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies aligned with the Centre’s mission and branding.
• Create engaging content (posts, graphics, short videos) for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to evaluate performance and adjust strategies.
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with staff to promote events, programs, and initiatives.
• Ensure cultural authenticity, inclusivity, and technical compliance in all digital outputs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or related field (students with strong portfolios may be considered).
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands.
• Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing software.
• Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and social media trends.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

• Part-time role: Approx. 15–20 hours per week.

• Occasional on-site presence for events and content creation.

The Decroly Education Centre is a recently established company that is formally registered with PACRA, operating in the Chilanga - Lusaka region of Zambia.

We provide educational services that encompass remedial classes or extra lessons for students, including those in universities and colleges. Our offerings also include tuitions for GCE and Grade 9 external candidates, foreign language instruction, and various skills training. All educational programs are tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of the learners.

We provide our services through a hybrid/blended educational system, wherein our educational processes are conducted using both physical and online modes of study. Alongside training and tutoring services, we also offer teachers the opportunity to market and sell their online courses through our platforms. Currently, we are actively seeking part-time tutors in various subject areas:

1. Remedial / extra-lessons for both primary and secondary pupils in all subjects
2. Tuitions for GCE (grade 12) and Grade 9 external exams

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

1. Primary tutors need a Diploma as a minimum
2. Junior Secondary tutors need to have a minimum Secondary Teachers’ Diploma
3. Senior Secondary tutors need to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, including the teaching subject in their area of interest.

EXPERIENCE

At a minimum, the candidate must prove they have gone through school experience.
